Over the past 10 years, Global Solar has designed and built lightweight solar Portable Power Packs™ (P3’s) for the Military. Having developed the first lightweight and foldable solar panel for the United States Marine Corps in 2001, current designs evolved following extensive field evaluations and testing. Our lightweight products have been designed for rapid recharging of various battery types from 12v to 24v and have been approved by CECOM as part of the BB-2590 soldier battery pack. There have been over 10,000 MIL-STD-810 approved P3 modules sold worldwide through government integrators, distributors, and various organizations.
