Global Solar Energy is sponsoring the fastest electric vehicle in the world

The Zerotracer, the fastest CO2-free electric vehicle in the world, will be competing in the WAVE RACE 2011 across Europe and will be sponsored by Global Solar Energy during this time. For two weeks the small racing car will be traveling with 183 bhp (brake horsepower) from Paris to Prague, crossing eight different countries, covering almost over 300km and competing against 20 other electric vehicles. In the ZeroRace 2010, race around the the world, the Zerotracer came first and won an entry in The Guinness Book of Records.

The mission of WAVE RACE is to promote electric mobility running on renewable energy.
The race will start on 11th September!
