Jean-Noel Poirier

Mr. Poirier joined Global Solar as its Vice President of Marketing & Business Development in March 2010. He brings extensive sales, marketing, business development and product management experience in the US, Europe and Asia.

Prior to joining Global Solar, Mr. Poirier served as Vice President of Market Development at First Solar Inc., the world’s leading producer of thin-film photovoltaic modules. Prior to First Solar, he was with Honeywell International, where he held several leadership positions including Vice President of Global Marketing for the Honeywell Security Group, Director of Worldwide Marketing for Honeywell Turbo Technologies and Director of Strategy and Business Development in the Honeywell Corporate Strategy Group.

Mr. Poirier holds an MBA from the JL Kellogg Graduate School of Management, as well as a BS in Applied Economics and a BS in Management Sciences from the University of Paris Dauphine.
